What owners say

The recurring complaint is stability: random reboots and black screens that owners trace to the CPU's C6 power state and fix by disabling C6 or PSS in the BIOS. Some found BIOS 1.09 worse than 1.07, others report units that never miss a beat. Wi-Fi is weak because the antennas sit against the base: about 245 Mb/s at five metres where a laptop with the same AX210 card manages 1 Gb/s. On the plus side it is quiet for its class, 31.7 dB(A) idle and 35.2 flat out, and the BIOS is clear. Balanced at 54 W and Performance at 65 W give the same frame rates, so Balanced is the one to use, and BIOS 1.07 raises the iGPU allocation to 8 GB. Buy 32 GB if you want to game, because 16 GB starves the iGPU; the local-LLM crowd buys it barebone and fits 64 GB for MoE models. The CPU is soldered, there is no DisplayPort, the stock Kingston SSD is unremarkable, and the 2.5GbE port has negotiated down to 1 GbE with some cables.

For whom
A compact, inexpensive barebone with two USB4 ports that accept an eGPU; one reviewer went from 48 to 98 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 with an external 4070 Ti.
Not for
Gaming above 1080p medium on the integrated GPU alone, or anyone who expects to upgrade the CPU later.
