Beelink SER8

Beelink SER8 pairs AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS with Radeon 780M, replaceable DDR5 memory and two SSD slots. HDMI, DisplayPort and USB4 make it a practical candidate for productivity and a multi-screen desk. Its integrated GPU uses system memory; game and creative performance must be assessed using tests of the same processor and RAM configuration.

External adapter output: 19V DC, 5.26A (approximately 100W); input 100–240V AC, 50/60Hz. Adapter capacity is not measured PC consumption.

What owners say

The SER8 gets bought for its looks: a metal unibody in the Mac mini mould that feels dearer than it is, though there is no VESA mount and no lock slot. At the desk it is quiet — under 35 dB(A) in independent measurements — and only becomes audible when gaming. The weak spots are all in the firmware and the radio. BIOS V029 broke fan control, leaving only the Full On setting, so owners run FanControl on Windows instead. The Wi-Fi 6 card drops out often enough that Beelink opened an official thread offering a free antenna kit. The 65 W mode is hidden in the BIOS and buys about 4-5 % for 20 % more power, so leave it at 54 W. Opening the case means pulling glued rubber feet, and two of the four rear USB-A ports are USB 2.0 without saying so.

For whom
A quiet desktop that games at 1080p on low to medium settings; Baldur's Gate 3 runs around 40 FPS on Low.
Not for
Anyone upgrading from a SER7, because the 8845HS gain is marginal, or for local AI: no real LLM measurement on this machine has been published, and the tok/s figures circulating online are estimates from specifications.
