Three reviewers had this machine, Geekom's larger box around the Ryzen 7 8745HS, and it is the kind that stays out of the way: virtually silent at the desk, about 40 to 43 dB at 30 cm under sustained load with no spikes, 10.2 W on average across a full day at idle, and 55 to 67 W in long processor and game runs. The bottom plate comes off to reveal both memory slots and the SSD at once, with no brackets to remove. Storage is where the specification and the hardware part ways: there is one M.2 slot for an SSD plus a 16-pin connector for a 2.5-inch SATA drive, and the extra M.2 SATA slot in Geekom's board table was not on the unit one reviewer opened. There is no SD reader and no front USB-C; both USB4 ports are at the back. Games need low settings — around 30 FPS in Baldur's Gate 3 at 1080p Medium — while Dota 2 and CS2 run smoothly. One reviewer felt it throttle during a long 4K edit, another found performance stable over long runs. On value they split: the best-value Geekom one reviewer has tested, or $150 dearer than a rival with the same chip.

Not for

Games beyond esports titles, sustained 4K editing, and anyone counting on two M.2 SSDs — only one slot is confirmed.
