Beelink SER9 MAX (H 255)
Beelink SER9 MAX (H 255) pairs AMD Ryzen 7 H 255 with Radeon 780M, replaceable DDR5 and a 10GbE network connection. Two SSD slots and three display outputs suit a compact work desk or a system connected to fast network storage. This configuration must be compared separately from the SER9 Pro, which has fixed memory and a different Ethernet connection.

What owners say
Three reviewers had this exact chip, and they agree on the power figures more than on the noise. Idle sits under 10 W — 8.5 W at the wall under Proxmox — and a full processor load draws 75 to 77 W, with the chip staying under 82 °C and no throttling in the heaviest test. One reviewer found it very quiet throughout; another heard the single fan under heavy load and lists "not always very discreet" among its drawbacks. The headline is the 10GbE port, and it comes with a catch: the controller is Realtek, so VMware ESXi will not install, although the port also negotiates 2.5 GbE. Early owner reports on networking are mixed — one had no Ethernet link at all and another saw 90 Mbps over Cat6 on a new unit — and neither thread was resolved. There is no NPU and no VESA mount, and the Wi-Fi card sits under the SSDs with its antenna wires close by, so open it carefully. Beelink says it ships a clean Windows, but a reviewer and an owner both found trial software preinstalled. Beelink refused BIOS support to one buyer whose unit turned out to be the Chinese-market model.
- For whom
- A small Proxmox or container host that needs 10-gigabit networking in a mini PC and draws little power at idle.
- Not for
- VMware ESXi users, and owners of a recent mini PC without a 10G network — one reviewer calls the gain over the SER8 small.

Notes
- upgrades: Maximum supported memory is not stated separately from factory configurations.
- ports: The exact DisplayPort revision and DSC/color-depth conditions for 4K/240Hz are inconsistent or unstated across the official page; the display mode is not a gaming FPS result. The advertised display mode is excluded from the main specifications until those conditions are documented.
- power: Detailed official illustration says 100–240V input, while the short HTML table says 200–240V; the label on the supplied adapter must be checked; neither range is assumed for the delivered unit.
