Two laboratories measured this machine beside a rival carrying the same processor, and the difference is not subtle. It idles between 3.8 and 5.2 W at the wall where the other draws 6.1 to 13.2, and it sits at 33.7 dB(A) doing nothing against 38.8. That efficiency has a price and it is written into the firmware: the sustained power limit is 33 W where the rival sets 70. Give it a long job and it begins losing speed from the third pass of a repeated benchmark, while the other holds to the end; on a Blender render the gap reaches a quarter of the time. This is a machine for work that arrives in bursts and a poor one for work that does not stop. Two things a buyer should know before ordering. Its external graphics option is USB4 only, and that port runs at PCIe Gen 3 speed where the rival offers OCuLink at Gen 4. And the 2.5-inch drive bay inside the case has no connector soldered to the board: a reviewer opened one and found the twenty-pin header simply absent, where the previous model had it. The manufacturer says later production runs might add it. The warranty is three years.

A quiet, genuinely efficient desktop for work that comes in bursts, with three years of warranty behind it.

Not for

Sustained loads, where its 33 W limit costs real time, and anyone counting on filling that 2.5-inch bay.
