Beelink EQi12 (i5) pairs Intel Core i5-1235U with Intel Iris Xe (dual-channel memory) in a compact desktop with an internal power supply. Two HDMI outputs, two Ethernet connections and two replaceable SSDs make it a practical candidate for office work or a small home lab. Graphics use system memory; demanding games and GPU rendering require application-specific evidence.

What owners say
No publication reviewed this i5-1235U version, and only a handful of owners have written about it, mostly on Beelink's forum when something went wrong; read this as a list of known problems, not a verdict. The most detailed report is from an owner running Debian as a home server: a six-bay USB disk enclosure kept dropping off the bus, taking all five drives offline at once, on both the USB-C and USB-A ports, while the same enclosure ran for a week without a hiccup on another Beelink. Beelink's suggested fix is a set of BIOS USB power settings, and the thread does not say whether it worked. Another owner who replaced Windows with Proxmox could not reinstall Windows 11: the installer never saw the internal SSD, even with Beelink's driver pack. A Windows 10 owner could not install the audio and graphics drivers at all. BIOS updates come by private message on request, and Beelink warns that DDR4 and LPDDR5 boards take different BIOS families — the wrong one bricks the unit; every i5 version in its store is DDR4. On the positive side, one owner drives a 43-inch touch panel with live camera feeds from it as a Home Assistant kiosk, once he replaced a browser that hung the Iris Xe graphics.

- A Linux home server or Home Assistant kiosk, for someone comfortable troubleshooting drivers and BIOS settings.
- Not for
- USB disk enclosures for NAS duty, and anyone who needs to reinstall Windows without help.
