Three reviewers had the 16 GB / 512 GB version of this Ryzen 5 PRO 6650H box, and the lab that measured it found a cool machine with a restless fan. Under Prime95 the chip holds 3.4 GHz at 35 W and 69 °C, and the shell barely warms because it hardly touches the internals. But the fans pulse often, up to 38 dB(A) at light load in Balanced mode and 47 dB(A) at peak, although another reviewer calls it very quiet. Idle draw is 6.6 to 14.5 W and full load a steady 53 W, which the lab rates average performance per watt at best. The memory is 16 GB of soldered LPDDR5-6400, and every reviewer flags that it cannot be upgraded. The front USB4 port is sold with DisplayPort 1.4, but the lab could not get a picture from it even after driver updates, and 4K60 playback dropped frames. Four thumbscrews release the shell, then a screwdriver reaches two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots without heat spreaders. There is no NPU; multi-core speed matches Intel's Core Ultra 7 258V while graphics trail it. It edits HD phone footage comfortably but struggled with 4K Premiere projects, and games need low settings. Reviewers disagree on whether it can be VESA-mounted.
