GMKtec M3 Pro
GMKtec M3 Pro combines Intel Core i5-13500H with integrated Intel Iris Xe (dual-channel memory) for office multitasking, development and media work. Gaming and GPU-accelerated applications depend on their settings and driver support; the graphics specification alone is not a measured performance result. Replaceable SO-DIMM memory gives it a path for later RAM upgrades.

What owners say
Three reviewers had this i5-13500H box and found a sensible, somewhat dated machine. It is quiet in light work — virtually inaudible from 50 cm — and audible but not loud under heavy load; in the BIOS Performance mode it passed a 3DMark stress test at about 69 °C without significant throttling, with Silent (28 W) and Balanced (35 W) modes below it. Measured power differs a lot: one reviewer saw draw only briefly above 50 W, another about 75 W under full load and 10 to 11 W at idle. Ubuntu 26.04 detected everything without manual setup. The 2.5GbE port reached full speed, while Wi-Fi 6 was less consistent at about 500 and 350 Mbps. The only USB-C port is at the back, is neither USB4 nor Thunderbolt, and cannot easily drive an external GPU; reviewers disagree on the rear USB-A speeds, and the box itself has changed, with a glass lid on one unit and a plastic top on another. The main slot takes PCIe 4.0 drives though the factory SSD is Gen 3, and the second takes 2242 NVMe or SATA. Local AI works but wants the 32 GB version: 16 GB was not enough for a 24B model. GMKtec preinstalls its own AI suite. Cyberpunk runs at 20 to 25 FPS at 1080p on the lowest settings.
- For whom
- An affordable office or Linux desktop with 2.5GbE and room for a second SSD.
- Not for
- Router or firewall builds — it has one Ethernet port — gaming, and anyone who wants the graphics and AI speed of current Core Ultra or Ryzen AI chips.
