GMKtec K16

GMKtec K16 combines AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS with integrated Radeon 680M for office multitasking, development and media work. Gaming and GPU-accelerated applications depend on their settings and driver support; the graphics specification alone is not a measured performance result. Memory is fixed at purchase, so choose RAM capacity for the full intended lifespan. OCuLink allows a separate compatible external GPU dock; connect or disconnect it only with the PC powered off.

What owners say

Five reviewers had this 7735HS box, and they agree it is fine for everyday work and held back as a graphics machine. The 32 GB of memory is soldered 32-bit LPDDR5 and cannot be upgraded, and one reviewer blames it for weak integrated-graphics results; Cyberpunk manages about 23 FPS at 1080p Low. On noise they split: up to 49 to 50 dB(A) under heavy load in two labs, one of which still found it easy to live with, while another reviewer found it barely audible at light load and a fourth tamed it by setting 35 W in the BIOS. Idle is frugal — 6.2 W averaged over a full day in one test, just over 10 W in another — but gaming draws almost 70 W. The front OCuLink port is its real trick: with GMKtec's dock one reviewer ran Cyberpunk at about 60 FPS at 4K with FSR. The maker warns OCuLink is not hot-pluggable and can damage the board if connected while the machine is on. Opening it is fiddly by most accounts, with a fan cable to mind. One review unit shipped with an AI agent called OpenClaw preinstalled and Windows not fully patched.

For whom
Office work and a compact base for an external graphics card over OCuLink, for someone who wants plenty of ports in a very small box.
Not for
Anyone who wants upgradeable memory or strong integrated graphics for the money: it is an older Zen 3+ chip at a price one reviewer calls high.
