- 1 × 2.5GbE RJ45, with a second Ethernet connection available as a configurable-port option. ASUS lists Wi-Fi 6/6E modules with Bluetooth 5.2, 5.3 or 5.4 depending on the module. Confirm the exact kit and software support; neither a second LAN port nor a specific wireless module is assumed installed.

- 2 × DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM, up to 64 GB (2 × 32 GB) for this CPU generation; 1 × M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe slot (ASUS-listed SSDs up to 2 TB) and a 7 mm 2.5-inch SATA bay. RAM and storage are not included. Dual-channel memory is required for the advertised Iris Xe graphics configuration.

- The ASUS product guide assigns a 120 W external adapter to PN64 i5/i7 models; the family-wide 90 W option belongs to i3 models. Confirm the adapter voltage and connector against the exact kit before replacement. Rated output is not measured wall power.

What owners say
No publication reviewed this i5-13500H version of the PN64, so this rests on two Korean owners who bought it and wrote about it — a thin basis, closer to first impressions than a review. One built it from the barebone and found the fan audible but about what he expected for the size, with boot and program launch quicker than on his Core i7 laptop. The other, a developer, bought it for home-office work and saw his C++ project compile about twice as fast as on his 2017 laptop. Both point at the same details. There are only three USB-A ports in all, which feels tight once a wired keyboard takes one. Fitting a drive means working around a very thin ribbon cable between lid and board, which looks fragile but unplugs and reconnects more easily than expected. The power adapter is on the large side. One owner's monitor kept blanking for a few seconds until he replaced the HDMI cable. ASUS lists up to 64 GB of DDR5 for the 13th-generation version.
- For whom
- A compact home-office or development PC that is a clear step up from an older laptop.
- Not for
- Anyone who needs plenty of USB ports, or who wants measured results: none exist for this version.
