Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q Gen 4 (13700T)

Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q Gen 4 (13700T) is a one-liter business desktop. Its DDR4 memory and single M.2 storage slot make it a straightforward office or light server option. Optional ports, wireless and accessories vary by machine type, so a family specification does not guarantee every feature on a store listing.

What owners say

Only one publication reviewed this i7-13700T version; the rest comes from buyers' reviews on Lenovo's own store, several written in exchange for an incentive, so this is a thinner basis than most. ITPro's unit had the same 16 GB and 512 GB as the one we list, and ran six hours of FurMark and Prime95 together at full load; the price of that is fan noise the reviewer calls not intrusive but clearly audible, without giving a figure. Opening it takes one large screw at the back, after which the top slides forward. The two rear punch-out spaces can be ordered with extra ports — another DisplayPort, HDMI, serial, VGA, or a USB-C port with DisplayPort and 100 W power input — but no configuration has a card reader. The internal speaker is very quiet with no bass, and the UHD 770 graphics limit it to light games. Owners of this exact model describe it as fast and reliable, with no lag across many browser tabs, and one notes its lower energy use; another's only wish is more processor choices.

For whom
A compact, reliable office desktop that holds up under sustained load, with ports chosen at order time.
Not for
Gaming or graphics work, anyone who needs a card reader, and quiet rooms under full load.

Notes

  • Optional wireless cards, rear modules, drive carriers and power adapters must be checked against the exact Lenovo machine type.
  • Measured wall power, acoustics and configuration-matched benchmarks remain unverified.
  • The exact 12E30000US sheet lists Bluetooth 5.1, while later family specifications list 5.2/5.3; do not promise a later version for this SKU without checking its OS and driver.
