GMKtec G10
GMKtec G10 offers a small desktop for everyday office work and lightweight development with AMD Ryzen 5 3500U. Its integrated Radeon Vega 8 makes it more suitable for routine desktop graphics than demanding 3D production. Replaceable SO-DIMM memory gives it a path for later RAM upgrades.

What owners say
Four reviewers had this Ryzen 5 3500U box, and the first thing they learned is to check the BIOS. It ships in Balanced mode at 15 W, which roughly halves 3DMark scores; one unit also reserved 3 GB for the graphics, and switching to Performance (35 W) and automatic memory allocation brought substantially better results. The trade-off is heat: at 35 W one reviewer only got stable stress results by running the fan flat out, which made it louder than he liked, while another saw 90 °C peaks without throttling and a fan barely noticeable in a normal room. An owner notes the side vent pushes out a lot of heat. It draws 11 to 12 W at idle in Balanced and about 20 W in Performance. One unit's SSD had shifted in transit because its screw had too much play, capping reads near 900 MB/s until it was reseated. The lid pries off to two filled memory slots and a second M.2 slot with four PCIe 3.0 lanes, cramped against the memory. The fastest external ports are 5 Gbps and there is no USB4. The 2.5GbE port is Realtek: older Ubuntu and the Proxmox installer need its driver, and one Proxmox owner saw spontaneous restarts. TechRadar calls it the slowest Ryzen mini PC it has tested, yet a sensible cheap office PC.
- For whom
- A cheap office PC, switched to Performance mode in the BIOS.
- Not for
- Anything demanding, fast external storage, and a plug-and-play Proxmox install.

Notes
- network: Manufacturer wording conflicts between Gigabit and 2.5GbE; confirm the exact network revision before using a speed-based filter.
- ports: The summary claims 8K over DisplayPort but the per-port table specifies 4K/60Hz; publish only the detailed per-port limits.
