What owners say
Two reviewers had the A5 Pro with the Ryzen 5 7430U, a smaller aluminium box than the plain A5 and not to be confused with the 2026 edition built around the 7530U. Both liked it as a quiet, low-power desk PC: effectively silent through most of one test, and frugal enough that the reviewer ran it from a compact power station for a full day. Its limit is the integrated graphics — Adobe Bridge thumbnails and 4K timelines expose it, demanding modern games would not run, and esports titles were playable while the older Far Cry 3 was not. Wi-Fi 6 held up close to the router but dropped occasionally farther away. Four bottom screws open it to two DDR4 slots (up to 64 GB), an M.2 2280 NVMe slot and a 2242 SATA slot. Unlike the 2026 edition it keeps a Kensington lock slot. The SD reader sits on the side, awkward once the unit is mounted behind a monitor, and one reviewer dislikes the plastic rear panel. They split on value: "just about" worth its price for one, an enticing price-to-performance for the other. One of the two reviews contradicts itself on its benchmark scores, so no figures are drawn from it.
