Almost everything written about this machine was written about a different one: the two most-cited reviews tested the Core Ultra 7 155H, not the Ultra 9 185H sold here. What owners of the 185H report on Beelink's own forum is narrower and more useful. Two of them, in separate threads, describe a machine that never drops below 62 °C at idle, with individual cores reading 89 to 92 °C and the package passing 90 °C under load; one improved it only by lowering the processor's power budget and said plainly that he did not consider it a fix. The expansion slot underneath is not what it looks like. After two rounds of questions, Beelink's support explained that it carries only 12 V for a graphics card and not the 3.3 V rail an NVMe drive needs, so a drive plugged into it can never finish powering on. It works with the company's own dock and nothing else, and there is no plan for an NVMe-only version. With that dock attached, one owner watched his multi-core score fall by half while single-core was untouched, which is why games felt fine and renders did not. Two owners who fitted 96 GB report one machine seeing only 32 and the other running the memory at half its rated speed.

Someone who wants an external graphics card through Beelink's own dock, and who will keep an eye on idle temperatures.

Not for

Adding storage or any other card through the slot underneath, and anyone about to trust a GTi14 review without first checking which processor it tested.
