- USB-A: three USB 3.2 Gen 2 and one USB 2.0. Two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, two HDMI 2.0, SD reader and 3.5 mm headset jack.

- One 2.5GbE RJ45 and Wi-Fi 6. The current family table lists Bluetooth 5.4, whereas the 2025 7430U review lists 5.2. The selected edition and batch need confirmation.

- DDR4 SO-DIMM memory, up to 64 GB. One M.2 2280 SSD slot, one M.2 2242 SATA slot and a 2.5-inch 7 mm SATA bay. The current shared A5 page lists 4 TB / 1 TB / 2 TB drive ceilings for newer CPU editions; those ceilings are not separately established for this 5825U configuration.

- The current A5 family page lists a 65 W external adapter (19 V / 3.42 A). Confirm the adapter label for the older 5825U edition before replacement; rated output is not measured wall consumption.

What owners say
One magazine reviewed the A5 with the Ryzen 7 5825U, and owners on GEEKOM's forum and its Japanese store fill in the rest; the review gets some hardware details wrong, so only what it measured is used here. In that test the processor stayed cool, 59 °C at most over an hour of FurMark, and the fan was audible at full load but within the norm for the size; Japanese owners praise how quiet it is and find it smooth with more than ten Chrome tabs open. The concern is shutdowns. One owner's first unit switched off and died, and the replacement kept powering off without warning until BIOS 2.37 and EC 1.13 were installed; a second owner still gets instant shutdowns when opening photos on that same firmware with the 65 W adapter, and his thread ends unresolved. GEEKOM's support points first at the power supply or the power strip. One Japanese owner runs Ubuntu Server on it as a stable home server. The reviewer's advice on value is that the newer 7430U version is the better buy for little difference in price, although the 5825U has two more cores.
- For whom
- A quiet everyday or light home-server PC with eight cores, once the latest BIOS and EC firmware are installed.
- Not for
- Anyone who cannot tolerate the risk of sudden power-offs; the 7430U version costs about the same.
